Wild Goose Chase sew along

I was brave. I thought that trying something new would somehow help me on the road to becoming a real quilter. That's how I decided to take a part in the Whild Goose Chase sew along with Fat Quarter Shop.

With my trusty Olfa rotary cutter with Endurance blade (I would like to hug the person who invented this sharp blade!), I followed the cutting direction, carefully and perfectly.

Then I sewed all pieces together onto Triangles on a roll paper that Fat Quarter shop graciously sent to me. It was so easy because I have a guide line for each stitch. I was thinking, 'oh, this must be the secret of quilt queens!'

I was so proud for my very first atempt of flying geese! Yep, I hung them on my kitchen window and enjoyed looking at them like a piece of art.

On the first day, I made a mini mat. *I followed the Wild Goose Chase block pattern that Fat Quarter Shop provided me.

On the second day, I made a pillow.

And on the third day, I was not tired of sewing flying geese at all! So I made another pillow...
