Sweet Orchard Blog Tour

"Want to play with Sweet Orchard?" My stop on Sweet Orchard Blog Tour has all started with this one line.

I have tasted Sedef 's first collection Sweet Orchard last spring for her Spring Quilt market booth. Oh, how sweet they were! I wished I had more!! She let me taste only a bite of each piece and I had to be very careful not to waste a bit. I was like a six year girl browsing at See's Candy shop and you know they offer you only a piece of chocolate for free and you have to be with your mama for more. I had to be good and patient until Sedef came to me and asked, "Want to play with Sweet Orchard?"

Oh yes, please!! (many dancing emojis here please) Who wouldn't want a basket full of treats instead of a bit? :) I have enjoyed all 21 fabrics laying on my fabric shelf and secretly loved her clever cheater print a little more. I hope we all keep that secret; shhh....please do not bring that word, cheater prints. ;) The typewriter illustration is from the book, Sew illustrated .

My Korean blog friend sent me a handmade charm while I was making this bag. What a perfect match!

My second make is a lunch bag that I twisted a little bit with my Drawstring bag from my book as well.

I think Sedef's Sweet Orchard , the book Sew Illustrated and my Claire bear will live happily after. :)
