I began for myself but as the steps added up, I started thinking of my mom. I don't remember when was the last time I bought her a bag, a scarf or clothes... My mom always said that she didn't need anything and I was silly enough to believe that. There are very few things I've given my mom in the past decade. I wish I knew that I would live abroad and I wouldn't be able to meet her often. Now I am a mother of three girls and whenever my girls ask me what I want for Christmas, for birthday or for anniversary, my answer is always anything handmade. I don't want my girls spend their allowances for the products you can buy anywhere any time. I want my girls to give me their time because it's getting hard to give and receive as we get old. I am happy that I can give something handmade to my mom that I know she will love it!
