Quilting on the go...EPP Book tour

Hello friends, Today is my turn on the book tour of Sharon Burgess( @lilabellelane )' first book, 'Quilting On The Go... English Paper Piecing', published by Tuva Publishing . As a complete beginner of English paper piecing, I worried so much when I was asked by Sharon. The huge Techniques section was easy to understand and it's also suitable for experienced English paper piecers as well for it's wide selection of inspiring projects.

First I made this sweet needle keeper using my debut collection, Dear Diary for Riley Blake Designs. *Dear Diary is coming to the stores in October.

I couldn't help makine another one!

I changed the inside my own way. To see Sharon's original design, check out Kristyne's Prettybyhand version. ;)

The charm of needle keeper is that you can change and decorate the pages whatever you want. I love my needle keepers so much! I hope you like them too. :)

My second project was 8 pointed star. It was very tricky to be honest.

Aurifil 80weight cotton thread was used for maching quilting.

I adopted the Summer Star Table Runner design from the book. I wish to make Liberty table runner someday when I get better and faster...
