Bountiful Blog Tour, A set of four potholders

Thank you for joining me for my stop on Bountiful Blog Tour. I am so excited to show you all my cute babies! Bountiful is Sharon Holland 's newest fabric collection for Art Gallery Fabrics .

My original plan was to make a pillow; a little patchwork with my signature sewing illustration together. But the background fabric I received was misplaced. I had to think about plan B. I was panic because I didn't have plan B!! The next day, my sneaky idea was to make one potholder and call it a day. I picked my favorite prints and make one potholder. It was too cute to make only one! So I picked my second favorite prints and made one more.

Then my third favorite for another......

By that time I didn't have enough fabric left so I had to be very careful not to make any mistake by cutting wrong sizes. I gathered whatever fabric I have left and made one last. It was still pretty!

After all, there's no best or second best. Each prints are very carefully designed so even if you close your eyes and pick any prints and they will still work vey well. I admire this talented designer from bottom of my heart, seriously.

And I love how my little sew-illustrated patches make good harmony with Sharon's Bountiful. :)

I was thinking about giving these potholders to my girls' teachers on the last day of school. And when I was taking these pictures, I heard my temping inner voice whispers, 'they are beautiful when they are all together. Keep them all under your oven and be happy.' What shall I do?!!! ^______^
