A Stitch in Time (English Paper Piecing book)

Hello, It's my stop at Sharon Burgess 's second book A Stitch in Time English Paper Piecing book tour. I loved her first book Quilting on the go EPP and made Needle keepers and EPP mini quilt . I am so excited that I can finally share my projects with you today!

My first pick was Spring Time Embroidery Organiser with my own twist. I used my upcoming fabric line Someday collection and gold sparke stripes from Riley Blake Designs. These hexies are my strike-off samples I got from Riley Blake Design factory. (*strike-off is process to check the color and any printing errors.)

These cute buttons and pins are gifted from my artist friend Suhobi .

I changed to clear vinyl zipper pocket from embroidery floss pockets to store my precious buttons.

My second project is Tea Time Placemat . I also twisted a bit and fused raw edges using fusible webbing.

Notions used: Zipper and fusible batting : Dailylike Canada Clear vinyl : Byannie.com Fusible webbing: Lite Steam A Seam 2 A Stitch in Time contains 18 projects, each with a touch of English Paper Piecing combined with embroidery, hand quilting, pretty laces, and trims—all designed to encourage readers to pick up a needle and thread. This book contains projects that will entice crafters to cut into their precious and most treasured fabrics, even repurposing a vintage linen, bringing them to life in projects to share, give as a gift, or to keep for oneself. Projects include: Fussy Cut Candle Mat, Vintage Pouch, Baby Quilt, Sewing Accessories, and more. (Tuva Publishing) I hope you enjoyed my projects. Find more project ideas on Sharon's Instagram @Lilabellelane. Thanks for stopping by! Minki xx
