It’s another beautiful Friday. Kids and hubby went where they belong to and I am enjoying this calm morning.

Today I would like to share my upcycled jean bag idea. I made 4 crossbody bags for my 3 girls and myself. Other bags I made them before were forgotten but

this jean bag has been loved still. (the amount of time and effort really doesn’t matter for the receivers. They only care “the look.” *wink*)

Step1. Cut your jean as the picture shown and decorate with colorful fabric stashes.

Step2.Iron fusible batting on the wrong side of the jean.

Step3.Cut  about 1 inch sew line from jean waist and attached the leather strip with D shape ring for the shoulder string later on. Then sew the same line.

Step4. Fold right side together and sew. The size is depends on your jean size.

Step5. Prepare inner cotton. I attached the invisible pocket too.

Step6. Reverse step4 and put in step5. Fold the opening and sew.

I reused the shoulder string from my girl’s old Hello kitty purse.

This is why I can’t get rid of any old jeans.

Happy sewing!
