Hello, August!

Today is my day to talk about  Heidi Staples‘ latest fabric design Date Night collection for Riley Blake Designs.

I love her pastel color combinations and each print works very well with other prints. As a fabric designer, this is the hardest part and I honestly spend the most time choosing colors than illustrations. I am awe of Heidi’s choice!

When I received the fabrics, the first thing I had in mind was another big storage cases! Because they are so useful for everybody in my family! (oh, my husband would say, no thanks, though.)

  2. I adore the fabrics. Your zippered cases are beautiful.
    I love the fabrics together, that is one of my favorite things to do, coordinate pretty fabrics like this. Even with a blouse, it is sweet…. and little grand daughter dresses.

    I can understand your husbands’ sentiment. I am grateful that mine, like yours most surely, just appreciates the beauty from afar haha

      Thank you sweet friend!
      I had design in mind but wasn’t sure for the structure. Now I think I can make a pattern!
      It will take some time though because I am doing secret sewing now. haha
