Hello my creative friends!
Last December I planned to create an Advent Calender using handmade sewing tags. It was just a couple of weeks before Christmas and I was super busy writing my Korean Craft Book and some of my tags were in the book. So unfourtunately I couldn’t finish my 24 handmade tags project.
I finally finished my Advent Calendar at the last day of November! A round of pplause for myself. 🙂
These sewing tags are great as it is or as ornaments on your Christmas tree. I always try to add kids drawing or writing on my sewing project so the family can remember for very long time. I found my 9 year Chloe’s writing(I like my mom) and drawing(a snowman on 17th) when she was 5. It was a jackpot! Creating 24 different designs never easy. you often feel like to cheating someone’s idea. *wink*

I asked my daugther to draw me an penguin on the paper and I traced her drawing with my sewing machine.
When you sew, don’t forget to put a piece of quit batting under the white cotton.
I dew the stems and big red stitch with sewing machine and added small dots by Frech knot stitch.
